2018 Ice Cream Social and Pet Parade
It almost didn’t happen. The day of the long-anticipated party broke cloudy and wet. Rain soaked, the stalwart crew of set-up volunteers made the decision to postpone the party until Sunday. Signs were put up, our webmaster sent out a quick email to all WoodCreek residents announcing the postponement and nine gallons of delicious ice cream were encased is dry ice.On Sunday Mother Nature smiled. Although cloudy, we enjoyed a dry and warm afternoon. WoodCreek families and their very well behaved pets arrived to enjoy ice cream sundaes and proudly parade their pooches to the thunderous applause of friends and neighbors. It was a fine WoodCreek event - a meeting of old and new friends. Children played, dogs sniffed, and the rest of us just blessed the day we moved into this wonderful community.
